House Helper (and its commercial mode, SitePlan Pro) helps you document your home or property, map it, and stay on top of maintenance and rent. We respect your privacy and keep this short and honest.
We use your information only to provide the app — to store and display your home, generate plans and reports, send maintenance reminders, and (for landlords) track rent. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Your data is private to your account. If you choose to share a home (for example, with a spouse, family member, realtor, or tenant) by adding their email, that person gets read-only access to that home. Address lookups use OpenStreetMap’s Nominatim service and map imagery is served by Esri; only the text you search or your map position is sent to them. Your data is stored securely with Google Firebase (Firestore and Cloud Storage), protected by security rules so only your own account — and people you’ve shared with — can read it.
If online rent collection is enabled, payments are processed by a third-party payment provider (such as Stripe) on their hosted, secure pages. House Helper never sees or stores your full card number.
We keep your data while your account is active. You can edit or delete your items, documents, photos, and homes directly in the app at any time, and you can request full deletion of your account by contacting us.
You can access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time — most of it directly within the app, or by writing to us.
