Controls the in-app
forced-update gate per app. Each app checks its row on launch and compares to its built-in build number:
- Min build — anyone on a LOWER build is blocked with a "must update" screen. Use for breaking changes.
- Latest build — anyone below this gets a dismissible "update available" nudge.
Set
Min build to the lowest build you'll still allow, and
Latest build to the newest build in the store. Leave the links pointing at your store listings. Each release's build number is shown in the app under Settings → About (Capital Fleet Tracker is on build 24).
Direct download (Capital Fleet Tracker only). The Android APK people install from /download-android has no store to update from, so it reads its own three fields: unlistedLatestBuild nudges older direct-download installs to the download page, unlistedMinBuild blocks them. Bump the latest build every time a new APK is published; leave min build at 0 unless an old build is actually unsafe. The store fields above never reach a direct-download install and these never reach a Play install — the two are signed differently and cannot update over each other.
